You can now transfer funds more easily — the transfer list will now display your phone’s Address Book contacts with their S PAY GLOBAL username. Hence, there is no need to add them manually with the “+” button.

How do I view all of my contacts?

Please ensure that you allow S PAY GLOBAL to access your phone’s Address Book. You will be prompted to allow the app to access your contacts list. During this, tap “Allow” to let the app show all of your contacts on the S PAY GLOBAL app.

 

 

Turn on Biometric Login to log into your S PAY GLOBAL account as an alternative login method.

What is “biometric login”?

Biometric login uses your fingerprint (Android) or Face ID (iOS) to access your S PAY GLOBAL account. Instead of typing in your password during each login, enabling biometric login allows a safer and convenient way to access your account.

How do I turn biometric login on?

You will need to enable biometric first in order to have it appear as a login option on your login screen.

For iOS users,

Step 1: On your S PAY GLOBAL home screen, tap on your profile.

Step 2: On “My Account”, go to “Security Centre” and tap on “Face ID”.

Step 3: Toggle “FaceID Pay” on. This would enable Face ID during login and when making payments.

For Android users,

Step 1: On your S PAY GLOBAL home screen, tap on your profile.

Step 2: On “My Account”, go to “Security Centre” and tap on “Fingerprint”.

Step 3: Toggle “Fingerprint Authentication” on. This would enable fingerprint authentication during login and when making payments.

How do I choose biometric login at the login page?

On the login screen, tap on “Other login option”.

You will be prompted with three login options to choose from:

 

  •         Mobile Number Login
  •         Default Login (Username and Password)
  •         Biometric Login

 

To use biometric login, simply tap on the “Biometric Login” button and proceed to login with your Face ID or Fingerprint Authentication scan.

Note: please ensure that you already have Biometric Login enabled prior to this.

How do I add this widget to my home screen?

Follow these steps to add the S PAY GLOBAL widget to your home screen.

Step 1: From the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area until the app icons jiggle. Alternatively, you can also tap “Edit” on the top left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the “+” button (Add Widget) to open the widget gallery.

Step 3: Browse or search for the S PAY GLOBAL widget from the list.

 

Is this available for Android devices?

Unfortunately, this widget feature is currently only available on iOS devices.

 

DuitNow QR is an interoperable QR standard that allows Malaysians to make payments and receive funds from any participating Bank and eWallet with just one QR code.

1. What is DuitNow QR?

DuitNow QR is Malaysia's National QR Standard established by PayNet under the Bank Negara Malaysia's Interoperable Credit Transfer Framework (ICTF).

2. How does DuitNow QR differ from existing QR payments offered by Banks and eWallet providers?

DuitNow QR allows interoperability between all participating Banks and eWallets.

3. Is DuitNow QR free?

Yes, it is FREE.

4. How do I use S PAY GLOBAL DuitNow QR?

To use our app’s DuitNow QR, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Launch the app.

Step 2: Tap on “Scan & Pay”.

Step 3: Scan the pink DuitNow QR code with the scanner.

Step 4: Key in the amount to be paid.

Step 5: Tap “Pay Now” to complete your payment.

Note: currently S PAY GLOBAL DuitNow QR only supports payments to merchant QR codes. Fund transfer is not supported.

5. How does DuitNow QR benefit users?

Through DuitNow QR, users can simply make payment using the S PAY GLOBAL app without having to switch between different apps.

6. Do I need to register to use DuitNow QR?

No registration is required. All you need to have is an up-to-date S PAY GLOBAL app (version 3.3.0) to scan the DuitNow QR when making payment.

7. Is there a limit to the amount that I can pay with DuitNow QR?

No changes to our current existing limits as shown on our website.

8. Are there any transaction fees when making payments using DuitNow QR?

No. Transaction fees will not be charged on all users. If a user encounters such a situation, we advise you to lodge a report to our S PAY GLOBAL Customer Service Helpline at 082-224 599 or email us at customerservice@spayglobal.my regarding the fee.

9. Is there any cashback when making payments using DuitNow QR?

Cashback will only be given for payments made to merchants displaying the S PAY GLOBAL DuitNow QR code when using our app. Payment made to other DuitNow QR merchants are not eligible for cashback.
