What is Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS)?

Background:

The Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS) is a financial assistance for the low-income groups that is disbursed in the form of digital vouchers (e-vouchers), which can be accessed through the S PAY GLOBAL e-wallet application for the purchasing of daily consumable goods.

Eligible applicants will receive funds based on the approved categories, as follows:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1.       Is this Aid Wallet feature available for all users?

Only users who meet the eligibility criteria and have been approved of any government financial assistance will be able to access the Aid Wallet feature on the S PAY GLOBAL app.

 

2.       Where can I find the Aid Wallet feature?

The Aid Wallet icon can be found on the home screen. It is represented with the State Crest (hornbill) icon.


3.       Am I a recipient? How do I verify my recipient status?

Recipients of the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 4, 2024 will automatically be eligible for the Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS). Kindly check your status on the SKAS web portal at https://sarawak.gov.my from 1 January 2025.

4.       I have verified my status on the SKAS portal. What should I do next?

Upon successfully verifying your details on the SKAS portal, you will need to acknowledge the aid next. Click on the image below to refer to our step-by-step guide.

After acknowledging the aid, your aid disbursement will be processed. You should receive the funds shortly.

 

5.       I have verified my status through the SKAS portal but did not see any Aid Wallet icon in my app. What should I do?

Upon successfully verifying your details on the SKAS portal, launch your S PAY GLOBAL app and update the app when prompted. After the update is complete, reopen your app and the Aid Wallet icon should appear on your home screen.

Alternatively, you can also check your official app store to update the app from there.

Note: please ensure that your app is updated to the latest version 3.3.1.

6.       Where can I view my aid wallet balance?

You can view your Aid Wallet balance by tapping on the aid icon on the home screen. After that, you will see a list of financial aids along with the approved funds for each aid.

 

You can also view the total available aid funds on the same screen.

10.       I have forgotten my Username, what should I do?

 

Kindly follow the steps below if you have forgotten your Username.

 

Step 1: Select “Forgot Username”.

Step 2: Enter your Malaysian IC (for Malaysian) / Passport (for foreigners).

Step 3: Enter your mobile number as per your registered mobile number on file.

Step 4: Tap the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Wait for an SMS and login with the provided Username.


11.       I have forgotten my Password, what should I do?

 

Kindly follow the steps below if you have forgotten your Password.

 

Step 1: Select “Forgot Password”.

Step 2: Enter your NRIC (for Malaysian) / Passport (for foreigners).

Step 3: Enter your registered Username as per on file.

Step 4: Tap the “Submit” button.

Step 5: A SMS will be sent to your mobile number. Proceed to login with the temporary password provided.

Step 6: Change your password immediately upon first login.
