What is Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS)?
The Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS) 2026 is a financial aid initiative by the Sarawak Government, aimed at supporting households and individuals earning RM5,000 and below. The assistance is provided to help eligible recipients purchase essential food items. The financial aid is disbursed through the S PAY GLOBAL e-wallet application, and will be disbursed in three phases: 10 March, May, and November 2026.
Eligibility criteria:
a) For Sarawakian MyKad holders (K) residing in Sarawak;
b) Recipient information is based on the Sumbangan Tunai Ramah (STR) Phase 1, 2026 data;
c) Eligible recipients are categorised into Household (Isi Rumah), Single (Bujang), and Senior Citizen (Warga Emas).

Value of SKAS:
The assistance value ranges from RM300 to RM950, depending on the recipient's category as stated below:
a) Household Category with income of RM5,000 and below will receive RM950;
b) Single Category with income of RM2,500 and below will receive RM300; and
c) Senior Citizen Category with income of RM5,000 and below will receive RM500.

1. Is this Aid Wallet feature available for all users?
Users who meet the eligibility criteria and have been approved of any government financial assistance will be able to access the Aid Wallet feature on the S PAY GLOBAL app.
2. Where can I find the Aid Wallet feature?
The Aid Wallet icon can be found on the home screen. It is represented with a hornbill icon (State Crest).
3. How to claim for the SKAS 2026 assistance?
Recipients of the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Phase 1, 2026 who meet the eligibility criteria for SKAS assistance will be automatically identified as SKAS recipients. The SKAS assistance will be disbursed in three phases: 10 March, May, and November 2026.

4. If I am eligible for SKAS 2026, how will the funds be disbursed to me?
The funds will be given to you through your registered S PAY GLOBAL account. Please ensure that you have already downloaded and installed the latest version of the S PAY GLOBAL app on your mobile device. The app can be downloaded through the following official stores:
a) App Store (iOS)
b) Google PlayStore (Android)
c) Huawei AppGallery (Harmony OS)
You will need to acknowledge your aid disbursement on the app in order to receive the funds once available. To acknowledge the aid disbursement, simply follow the steps below.
Acknowledge from Push Notification
Step 1: You will receive a push notification on your mobile device. Tap on it.
Step 2: On the S PAY GLOBAL app, tap on Acknowledge.
Step 3: The aid disbursement is being processed. You will be notified once the fund has been credited to your account.
Acknowledge from the App (if you did not receive any push notification)
Step 1: On the app home screen, tap on the State Crest.
Step 2: Tap on Acknowledge Now.
Step 3: The aid disbursement is being processed. You will be notified once the fund has been credited to your account.
5. Where can I view my aid wallet balance?
You can view your Aid Wallet balance by tapping on the State Crest icon on the home screen. After that, you will see a list of financial aid types along with the approved funds for each aid.
You can also view the total available aid funds on the same screen.

7. How do I check if a merchant accepts SKAS?
Participating merchants of SKAS will display SKAS stickers at their shop. Alternatively, you can also refer to the following channels to check on the list of participating merchants.
No new applications or appeals will be opened for SKAS 2026. Recipients are determined based on STR Phase 1, 2026 data. Should your name not be listed, new applications or appeals will unfortunately not be accepted.

10. Can a next-of-kin receive SKAS on behalf of an eligible recipient?
No. SKAS can only be received using the mobile device and mobile number of the eligible recipient’s name. This measure is part of the rules established to ensure the security and integrity of recipients’ accounts, minimise any risk of misuse or unauthorised transactions, and ensure that the aid is delivered safely and accurately to the rightful recipients.
11. The recipient is bedridden and unable to utilise the SKAS assistance.

12. What should I do if I already have a S PAY GLOBAL account?
If you already have a S PAY GLOBAL account, please ensure that your account is active. If your account is already active, go to the Aid Wallet icon and tap on Acknowledge Now to enable the assistance to be disbursed into your aid wallet.
13. I am not a S PAY GLOBAL user, how can I sign up?

14. When will the assistance be credited to my S PAY GLOBAL account?
The assistance will be credited to eligible recipients starting from 10 March 2026.

17. I have forgotten my Username, what shoud I do?
Kindly follow the steps below if you have forgotten your Username.
Step 1: Select “Forgot Username”.
Step 2: Enter your Malaysian IC (for Malaysian) / Passport (for foreigners).
Step 3: Enter your mobile number as per your registered mobile number on file.
Step 4: Tap the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Wait for an SMS and login with the provided Username.
18. I have forgotten my Password, what shoud I do?
Kindly follow the steps below if you have forgotten your Password.
Step 1: Select “Forgot Password”.
Step 2: Enter your NRIC (for Malaysian) / Passport (for foreigners).
Step 3: Enter your registered Username as per on file.
Step 4: Tap the “Submit” button.
Step 5: A SMS will be sent to your mobile number. Proceed to login with the temporary password provided.
Step 6: Change your password immediately upon first login.
** Do Not Share your login credentials.
19. What should I do if I forget my ID and password or have not registered for SarawakPass (formerly known as Sarawak ID)?
To register for SarawakPass, visit https://sarawakpass.sarawak.gov.my/. You can also get assistance by visiting any Service Sarawak Centres listed on the website.
